Theo Alexander
In his role as government & industry affairs specialist for PIA Northeast, Theophilus “Theo” Alexander will be responsible for tracking legislation and regulations; helping manage the association’s advocacy initiatives throughout the Northeast states; and drafting position statements and testimonies. He acts as a resource for members, responding to association members’ questions; reporting on legislative and regulatory issues; and writing for association publications.
Prior to joining PIA, Theo had served in both houses of the New York State Legislature. Previously, he worked as a legislative analyst for New York State Sen. Samra G. Brouk, D-55, and he served at the New York State Assembly, as a policy analyst with New York Assembly Program & Counsel. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in politics from Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y.
