This webinar is being offered in a partnership with PIA Western Alliance. You will receive a confirmation from them before the class date. This course is selected to discuss Wildfire disasters and how we; as agents, underwriters, adjusters and insureds should be trained to respond to any type of a disaster from the beginning through the claims process after.
The objective is to remind the insurance industry of many things we need to do to keep our clients ready for any type of claim. However, wildfires are new to many agents.
We in the Pacific Northwest have recently experienced these wildfires in our various states. I have personally lost my home in a wildfire and can speak to personal issues.
In this three-hour class we will highlight issues the agent, and customer will encounter.
The role of the state insurance department as a consumer advocate and the resulting impact upon the activities of the professional insurance producer will be examined.
Discussion will center upon the interaction of the producer with both the insurance buying public and insurance companies and ensuring their clients who suffer a big loss understand and guide them through the recovery process.
