Following up on cancellation notices
Our agency always sends letters to insureds when we receive cancellation notices from a carrier as a reminder that the premium must be paid to avoid cancellation. We are becoming concerned about this practice and would like to send out a letter to all our clients stating that they will no longer receive these letters from our agency. Will this protect us legally, or have we established a practice that will be difficult to change?
