New York state sexual harassment policy and training requirement
Earlier this year, a law was passed in New York state to require all employers to implement annual sexual-harassment training and develop a sexual harassment policy. The law allows employers to use a model sexual harassment program and policy or implement their own program that meets or exceeds state requirements. According to the FAQ, employers have until Jan. 1, 2019, to make sure all employees have completed the required training. Draft model sexual harassment prevention training program
