Long-term care
Long-term care insurance is used to assist individuals and families to cover some of the associated costs for people with prolonged illnesses, disabilities or cognitive disorders. Some of the long-term care services include health, medical, personal care and social services, including activities of daily living, around-the-clock nursing care, custodial care, hospice and respite care and other personal care such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, etc.
